The brass bells are cast in the northern Indian State of Uttar Pradesh; which is well known for quality brass manufacturers. The remaining parts, such as chains, hooks, coins, and medallions are made in Mumbai (Bombay) on the west coast.

Care of Your Brass Bra Cover

Usually all that is necessary is to rub the bra cover with a soft cloth dampened with warm soapy water.

Periodically check the connections and the links. If they have loosened use pliers to tighten the link so they stay secure.

These Bra Covers can tarnish. If you want the Brass to shine more you can soak the belt in mild vinegar. The best way to clean it is use a wire brush in vinegar. THEN wash in a soda water and then rinse in clean water again. If you use a brass cleaner you'll be cleaning it forever. Do not let it soak too long or the accent pieces may pop off or, depending on the material, become damaged.

NEVER put Nickeled Brass or a combination of Nickeled Brass in vinegar.

If an accent piece does come loose glue it back with some type of “super-glue” or epoxy.
